Update 2/2/2015 Country & Pop megastar Taylor Swift has added more concert dates to the "1989" Tour schedule. Most recently she has doubled up on shows in Santa Clara, CA (8/14 & 8/15) & Saint Louis, MO (9/28 & 9/29). She has also enlisted the help of Haim, Vance Joy &/or Shawn Mendes to be special guests for various dates of the tour. The table below is labeled with the appropriate special guests for each concert date (as far as we know) & reflects an accurate North American concert schedule, as of today. Swift has announced details of the North American leg of the "1989" World Tour. The tour will begin with a concert in Bossier City, LA at the CenturyLink Center on May 20, 2015. Although subject to change, the tour is currently set to wrap up after a concert at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL on October 31, 2015.

During the tour she will be promoting her 5th studio album "1989" (tracklist below) which was released in October of last year. The album reached #1 on several music charts world-wide including the the U.K. Billboard Albums, Canadian Billboard Albums & the U.S. Billboard 200.

Update 11/4/2014 Country music star, Taylor Swift, has effectively moved into the Pop music arena & proved that she can shine there too. Her debut album into the Pop genre, "1989" (tracklist below), has hit #1 on multiple music charts world-wide including the UK Albums, Australian Albums & Irish Albums charts. The newly crowned "Pop Princess" is celebrating the success with a highly anticipated World Tour of the same name.

August 18, 2014: Taylor Swift announced via Live Stream (compliments of ABC Network & YAHOO!) 3 suprises. She started with a rendition of her first single off her soon to be released 5th studio album. The single was a pop song titled "Shake It Off". She showed the cover photo for the new album (sorry, image not yet available). She also revealed the name of the new album as "1989". She let everyone know that the album could be pre-ordered on her website (however, when going there directly after the feed her site was "down for scheduled maintenance"). Swift said the album will be available in stores on October 27, 2014. Furthermore, she stated that the deluxe version will include voice memos with song parts & ideas from her phone. Additionally, the albums will contain a package/envelope of 13 pictures each, but mentioned that not all packages will contain the same 13 pictures. She also showed the video for the new single & revealed that the people in the end of the video were actual fans that were picked from sources such as Twitter & Instagram.

Swift also announced a 1989 SwiftStakes where she will be giving away 1,000 tickets & 500 Meet & Greets (more details are yet to be revealed).

Taylor Swift released her last album "Red" in 2012. The album peaked at #1 on many music charts world-wide, including the U.S. Billboard 200 & the UK Albums Chart.
